Video: Forgive My Enemies

One week before the dedication of the Gospel of Luke, three hundred homes in the village of Bambalang, Cameroon, were burned by a neighboring village. But hearing Scripture in their own language has brought comfort and forgiveness.

Sisters Visit

It was a real delight to have my two sisters visiting me in Florida for a week in March. Pat from Kentucky, Juanita from Ohio, and I visited the Butterfly Encounter in Oviedo plus Downtown Disney, joined some library staff for lunch one day, to Cracker Barrel another, and worked around my condo. They were such a blessing - kept asking me what they could do to help me prepare for the big move to Cameroon.

Together we pruned my little flower garden, Juanita did needed redistribution and more weeding plus spreading of mulch. Juanita packed 5 boxes of books that I pulled for new homes and both shredded years of financial papers. Pat has the electronic smarts of our immediate family; she always checks my computer and coaches me in electronics, even long distance. She discovered some disturbing warning signs with hard drive and surprised me with a new laptop to take to Cameroon, did transfer of files. Pat also taught me how to use a hand scanner she had given me and walked me a number of procedures with my I-pod. (I am so-o-o electronically challenged!).  Enjoyed a nice visit and meal with our cousin Sterling and wife Taccara in Winter Haven.

My sisters are such a blessing through the years and I thank God for them.
