Group’s Children’s Ministry Local Training.
This half-day training, led by recognized children’s ministry experts and
professionals, will visit 100 cities starting fall 2016. Registration starts at
just $29 per person for an intensive, relational half-day volunteer training.
Teaching Children Effectively: Are you serious about reaching children? Then you need serious training. About the Course: Teaching Children Effectively (TCE™) Level 1 is designed to offer a fresh approach to evangelizing and teaching children. Based on spiritual and educational principles, the course provides the methods and procedures to lead children to Christ and immediately equips the believer to begin and sustain a ministry where he lives. Student practicums are a vital part of the instructional procedure making TCE a refreshing way to train Christians in child evangelism. Local CEF chapters may be starting a TCE course soon in your area.

PUPPETS and VENTRILOQUISM
Puppet: an object representing a human being, an animal, or a thing that is manipulated by the fingers, hand, rods, string, etc.
BASIC TYPES of PUPPETS:
FINGER PUPPETS: finger moves
HAND PUPPETS (glove): hand moves
MOVING MOUTH PUPPETS: puppet mouth opens and closes; half-body (to waist of puppet) used behind a puppet stage; full-body for walk-around
ROD / STICK PUPPETS: figures on a stick (donkey, sheep, camels for nativity; 2 pieces of fabric/fur sewn together and stuffed, stick inserted)
SHADOW PUPPETS: flat figures held by a rod against a light screen/fabric; light shines from behind so figure shadows are seen by audience. Figures often have details cut out for light tp shine through, cutout portions may be cover with transparent film.

Fellowship of Christian Magicians USA. FCM is an international organization of people, from all walks of life, dedicated to using a high standard of presentation of the Gospel and to leading the lost to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus told us to “Go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” We do this by using visual illustrations and helping others develop their talent for Gospel presentation using sleight of hand, optical illusion, ventriloquism, puppets, balloons, clowning, juggling, storytelling, and other visual arts.
